As a food & travel writer and photographer, I have forgotten what it is like on the other side of the camera. Usually it is me sticking my camera lens into someone else’s face or food. With many questions like what are you doing, and why, can I try some of your hand-made noodles?
With dresses ready, a few of my own props and lunch to prepare. With Allison by my side styling our set, and myself, it is a success to have a few that worked. After realising that the last photo taken of me in a kitchen was five years ago, it was time to revamp.
For so many years I have avoided the camera, unless it was in my own hands. The last photos of Roy and I together is our wedding and a few on our travels. Most of them though have either of us with our foreheads or chins cut off. In the next month, Roy and I will be having a few other photos taken in our own kitchen. Time to update our About page image. Maybe this time we will be a little less drunk.
When was your last photo taken? Was it for your family and friends? or was it an impromptu phone camera stuck in your face?

You are gorgeous and that’s fun colorful photo
Thanks
Now everyone has a camera in their hands, I seem to be always having my picture taken – just to remember this, that or the other! On the very few occasions I’ve had pictures taken professionally I come out looking human and in one even good. The remainder I look vacant and colourless. Your pictures are great and you look like you were having fun. That’s what it’s all about. GG
Yes, I seem to steer away from the front of camera’s, generally I am taking heaps of photos which keeps me busy. It was fun, I don’t think I stopped laughing through the whole thing.
I LOVE this post! You are one of the cutest people (inside and out) that I’ve met in a long time. I’ve forgiven you for looking so much younger than you are.
You are only as old, as what you think you are. I swear that I am still 21 most of the time. Maureen you are forgiven.
You need to get a photo taken eating a bite of of a capsicum like that whacko from Iron Chef.
