This past week I have experimented with Isla’s meals as eating doesn’t come naturally or is she very clean. With a little inspiration from FAST & FRESH Baby Food by Jacqueline Burt Cote I have managed to create some homemade fish fingers, quinoa veggie fritters and almond butter cereal balls which all went down well and with little mess.

We are still teething and some days are better than others and I have found a great recipe in The Practical Herbal Medicine Handbook to make chamomile ice pops to help with the pain. So far so good. All muma’s need a little love too so I indulged in a nice hot bath infused with dried and fresh herbs this week which was complete bliss. With the informative guide to herbs you can create your own bath mix according to your ailments – I used lavender, rosemary and some nasturtiums.
