Woodford Folk Festival in Photos

Ah, Woodford. Each year we celebrate Christmas and New Years at the Woodford Folk Festival. Soaking up all sorts of music, grazing on food, drinking beers, dancing and spending time with family and friends. This year we had an Isla with us and this little lady was made for Woodford. The picture above just shows you how exhausting Woodford can be, so many things to see, do and watch. In Isla’s case all crawl after and climb up on however there was mud and soggy ground to keep this little one slightly controlled. We did splash in many puddles though. I have to say I thought we were getting ourselves into too deep taking an eight month old to the festival. Turns out she was brilliant only waking once during the night to feed and not waking everyone up either – winning.

Below are a few photos I took during the festival. Woodford is a magical place and seeing it through the eyes of someone else is even more amazing. I actually saw other kids at the festival this year, I never knew people took little ones. I have to add that I also adjusted the Ultimate Woodford Packing List ready for next year. There were a few things missing so looks like I am already semi organised for next year.

How did you welcome the new year in?

  1. Looks like you had an amazing time. I’ve never been but believe it or not my Mum went a couple of years ago for the first time. I love that first photo of her in the pram asleep. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane

In a few months time she’ll be walking and you can make her a little tutu like this…you won’t need much fabric either…..I would have loved to have done this for Sienna when she was that age. No Pinterest then…

  3. PS…thanks for the worm farm link with your tips…I’ve just got to put the little tap in my second box that we picked up from my friend and place it underneath the worm box. Kathy A, Brisbane
