Antigua and Gone

I enjoyed my 2 week stay in Antigua. The spanish still sucks, what can i say except im on holiday, so study is not really very appealing.

Besides that ive met some cool people. A couple from germany who have been riding bikes around the world for 5 years. Who i played home made settlers with. And lost badly (i blame the extra rules about castles and knights and stuff for confusing me).

Also played lots of guitar, and met a couple of good guitar players. Seth from the band Maple Grove was probably the winner of the make Roy look like an amature contest.

Besides that i ate a lot of food. From the cheap ass market food with luke & lil,

to cheap ass chinese,

cheap ass tacos,

and cheap ass sandwichs made on my frisbee.

And most importantly, $3 a bottle gin. Made in France of all places. The tonic ended up costing heaps more than the aactual gin.

Growing veggies, keeping the solar going and listening to music; one might think Roy never leaves his home with his green thumb yet he is an adventurous foodie who loves trying the weird and wonderful cuisines of any culture. An electrical engineer by trade his nerdiness also crosses over into his love for folk music and playing warhammer.

  1. Always suspected you liked a bit of ol’ French Fanny Leroy but that is just ridiculous. Still not in PNG. Hoped-for revised departure of 16 August has been revised, again. Take is easy – George
