Blood Sausage – Ushuaia, Argentina

We made it to the end. End of the continent anyway. The real end for us is coming in a couple of weeks when we head back up to Buenos Aries and back to Brisbane.

Ushuaia definitely ain’t as cold and windy as i thought it would be. Definitely more pleasant weather wise than El Chalten.

Only a couple of days down here. We went for a coastal walk in the national park. This sounded nice in theory, but turned out to be a very slow and muddy experience. Still pretty though.

The next day we went for a boat ride to see penguinos and sealions. This was nice until we started coming back. Then the sea got angry at us and threw the boat around. They turned the music (creedance) right up which surprisingly made me feel unseasick.

After that we went for a bit of lunch. It was the tail end of an all you can eat BBQ lunch. We were the last one through the door. This meant the picking were a bit slim.

But i got me some blood sausage and lamb.

Blood sausage is good. Lots of people will not agree with this.

Its kind of like pork pate. It is incredibly good with bread. It is slimy, but that’s because its blood, what do you expect. It does have the slight irony taste to it.

Gonna need to find a good source when i get home i think.
