Burrito, Antigua Guatamala

Ive been stuck slaving away at trying to upgrade my spanish language abilitys from non existant to crap in Antigua for a couple of weeks so ive had a pretty good eat around the place.

One of the standards became the following cheap ass dish. My spanish teacher and calls it crappy mexican food and the folks that work there actually look european. But its one damn good burrito that get served up for Q18. Its also located about 20m from my hostel, important factor.

Its not really wrapped completely like an australian burrrito, more just kind of folded over. But its full of beans, rice, carne (meat), lettuce and crunchy onion. After the high tech folding of the over sized tortilla it is covered salsa and sour cream.

Added to this is some hot salsa. Which unlike Mexico you generally have to ask for.

The rice and beans make this meal for me and due to its simplicity i might even be able to recreate this one when i get home. The salsa might be a bit tricker though. It may just have to make to with the asian touch of a bit of Sriracha. Ahh even thinging make my mouth water (and burn).
