Competition: Win 1 of 5 Double Passes to the Good Food & Wine Show, Brisbane

GF_WLogo - Hi Res

It’s that time of year again The Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show is on again this November 8 – 10 2013 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. This year the show is going back to the roots of where food comes from with plenty of food producers from around Queensland.

The show is about talking to producers, meeting wine experts and picking the brains of those who know how to cook. There are plenty of displays of cool kitchen gadgets – they keep filling the draws or get inspired by some celebrity chefs.

This year you can watch Miguel Maestre, Maggie Beer, Matt Moran and Matt Golinksi share their recipes and tips. If you don’t feel like cooking maybe sit on a wine tasting, do a coffee masterclass, get your fav cookbook signed or sit in with Lyndey Milan and match cheese and wine.

All you need is a touch of salt, a little of pepper, ciabatta on table number 51. Ice cold beer or wine from the cellar, main beach is either beef, reef or from the creek. Finished off with a nice light dessert……. but for me it’s a NU, Nu..

  5. Good food is a day on the Sunshine Coast hinterland circuit. Brekky at Homegrown Cafe in Palmwoods and a spot of veggie shopping in The Lane. Lunch in Nambour at Husk&Honey, followed by a drive up to Montville for pizza at Bella Cucina.
