Panang is not a huge island, so hiring a scooter for the day is an excellent way to get around.

If you head west from Georgetown you will reach the end of the world, where they will sell you some seafood luckily.

We decided we needed something nice and simple, and went with the ginger and shallot fish, not quite knowing how it was going to be cooked.

It turned out to be nothing too original, but damn tasty all the same.

When you get to the end of the world, try the fish.

Growing veggies, keeping the solar going and listening to music; one might think Roy never leaves his home with his green thumb yet he is an adventurous foodie who loves trying the weird and wonderful cuisines of any culture. An electrical engineer by trade his nerdiness also crosses over into his love for folk music and playing warhammer.
