Festive Season – See You Next Year

Christmas and New Years for me is a great time to reflect on the past year of events. Oh boy has this year been grand. I have hit a few milestones and had some major realisations. With this in mind 2015 is going to be another great year full of mystery as well as working towards a more self-reliant life from our land.

Thank you for all the support this year as I have entered motherhood the journey so far has amazed  me and I am sure the years to come are going to be just as rewarding. Thank you to those who offered kind words when I quit writing for the local papers. Thank you for all the comments and interaction via Facebook and the odd cheeky email. I love hearing from you.

The picture below is of Roy and I last year at Woodford I was six months pregnant and I am sure this years photos will be completely different. With little Isla in our lives along with her will to start walking. Almost there, however I am in no rush for her little legs to take off on her. Looks like Woodford will also be the time Isla will be teething. It has started, I felt the first sharp bit of tooth popping through the gums yesterday. Timing hey.

I will be taking a break to enjoy family time and have catch ups with dear friends while getting in a boogie at Woodford. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope the festive season is filled with joy, exquisite food and laughter.

Signing out for 2014 and see you in the New Year.

  1. Have a great time at Woodford….a really wet cold washer (maybe some ice first to make it cold) will also relieve her sore little mouth so she can chew on it. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane
