Potato Cake – Baraloche, Argentina

Ahh, back to the snow. At least there is oxygen here to go with the snow.

This is a beautiful tourist trap of a town. Big lake, snowy mountains and cold wind. Yep its the start Patagonia.

We grabbed some bikes for a bit of a ride around the place.

Had some supermarket food we purchased earlier. Potato cake. Either it was good or i was just really hungry from so much exercise.

On the home leg we passed this hotdog stand. With a great big wooden hotdog, thats right!

Didnt get a hotdog though, the owner looked too happy sleeping in the sun to be disturbed.

Argentinas iconic patagonian hotel, or some such cheesy thing (if you can make it out). Pretty though.

Growing veggies, keeping the solar going and listening to music; one might think Roy never leaves his home with his green thumb yet he is an adventurous foodie who loves trying the weird and wonderful cuisines of any culture. An electrical engineer by trade his nerdiness also crosses over into his love for folk music and playing warhammer.
