Sample Food Festival 2015

A couple of weeks back Roy, Isla and I headed off to Sample Food Festival in Bangalow. This is one of the best organised food festivals I have ever been too. I love it, the concept the amount of local producers and the amount of amazing food I can sample on the day. Amazing!!

This year we were behaving ourselves as we are doing a 30 day health challenge and we didn’t want to over eat. Needless to say we may still of had gone a little food crazy and tried a few things. The concept of Sample Food Festival is that the local restaurants and producers put up two dishes one costing $5 and the other $10 which makes it easy to get around and try many things.  Behind the crazed food eating circle local producers are selling their artisan products that are locally grown and made.

So what did we eat?

It was a great day out, plenty to look at, eat and learn from the cooking demonstrations. You could even get some dancing in to make room for more food too. If you are in the area next year make sure you put Sample Food Festival on your things to do list as you wont be disappointed by the array of delicious foods produced here in the Northern Rivers.

  1. Great to meet you at the festival and so glad you enjoyed it as much as us.
    It is so well organised!
    Awesome photos by the way.
