Seafood in Veracruz

That was one long bus ride! But the hotel fan is like a jet turbine, so everything should be fine. Mmmm, whats next? Food of course!

Veracruz is famous for its seafood. Well for one type in particular; Veracruz Fish. Who would have guessed.

Within half a block we had some. Lizi got the aforementioned fish. And i ordered Pulpo, with onion.

And here is the fish. Veracruz style entails tomatos, onions, olives, capers and that awsome oilyness they do so well over here. Lizi enjoyed this one, which is generally a good sign.

And my Pulpo. Which is squid. This was awsome and really filled me up.

The highlight was the old person dance off we ran into on the way back from the laundary a bit later though. Dont worry you´ll be old enough to be swingen like this soon.

Growing veggies, keeping the solar going and listening to music; one might think Roy never leaves his home with his green thumb yet he is an adventurous foodie who loves trying the weird and wonderful cuisines of any culture. An electrical engineer by trade his nerdiness also crosses over into his love for folk music and playing warhammer.
